Anna/Jason/DrewThree Con-Goers who come up with the winning movie pitch! Sadly, they don't know about the Aliens.
ANNA is a twenty-something young lady who lives for VEMPIRE and hopes to earn the love of her idol, DB Coates. She wears her “VEMPIRE state of mind” shirt. She embraces a faux-goth vampire-esque appearance, too. Only after yet another rebuke (and a threat to call in security) from DB does Anna realize she needs to start writing her own story. JASON is a twenty-something comic book hopeful who’s come to Con in the hopes of getting people to read his comic book, Super Christian Psychic Alcoholic Alien Detective. He gets a lot of “no’s.” Like, all “no’s,” really. He’s plucky though and, through sheer will and optimism just keeps asking, despite the constant rejection. Artwork by Kristin Brandt.
DREW is a twenty-something collector of all things pop culture. Prior to this convention, he was happy just being a collector, but getting the chance to make his mark and be creative is too much of an opportunity to pass up. Plus, maybe someday he could collect an action figure… of himself! He’s seen everything that isn’t new and what’s new really anyway? Artwork by Kristin Brandt.
DB COATES is the creator of the comic VEMPIRE, and more than a bit of a douchebag. Mid-30s. Handsome in a slimy, “I wouldn’t trust my sister with this guy” way. Always looking for the quick and easy way to the big, brass ring, he may have even stolen the idea for VEMPIRE from a 12-year old kid from Fresno. Artwork by Sina Grace -https://twitter.com/SinaGrace
ALLEN GRAY is the fifty-something creator of the film franchise OCEANEUS. The one-time hero of the Science Fiction community, he’s fallen on hard times via a string of bad creative choices. People who used to laud him now curse him repeatedly with statements of how he ruined their childhood. Artwork by Scott Arnold https://twitter.com/industristudios
IVY is Allen Gray’s hard-pressed, beleaguered and overworked twenty-something assistant who dreams of Princess Teas, costumed, frilly, and Earl Grey. She’s 20% princess and 80% “I’ll cut a bitch.” Artwork by Tony Fleecs - https://twitter.com/TonyFleecs
DUNGEON MASTER, sometime participant, but primarily the narrator of the story and breaker of the fourth wall. He wears a hooded robe, the symbol of his role. His smile is the only thing you see from under that hood. Not a genial smile, mind you, but rather the smile of someone who holds your character’s fate in his hands. And that fate? Probably more than a little fickle.

FLARGS, One of thecharacters from Allen Gray's biggest flop, you know, Cosplayers .... or are they?
